by - October 14, 2017

Hello guys~
For my first review on this blog, I picked up one of my Holy Grails: Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel. I use this product in every way possible, all I have left is to spread it on a toast and eat it *jk*

Description and claims:
Enriched with 92% aloe vera! Mild formula free from paraben, mineral oil and artificial colors. This soothing gel with 92% organic aloe vera certified by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) can be used to mildly moisturize various parts of the body such as the face, arms, legs and hair.

Volume:
300ml

Ingredients:

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (92%), Alcohol, Glyceryl Polyacrylate, Dipropylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Polyglutamic Acid, Betaine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Carendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) Extract, Melissa Officinalis Extract, Carbomer, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Water, Parfum, Disodium EDTA.

How to use:
Apply an appropriate amount to dry, sensitive parts of the face and body often for the best results.

Packaging:

The scent:
This gel smells like fresh Aloe Vera leaf .

The performance:
It's a transparent gel that is quickly absorbed, without leaving oily or sticky residue. After using it, my skin feels smooth and soft, and since I keep it in the fridge, it cools and refreshes my skin (which is awesome in this still so hot autumn weather)

I use it on my whole body as a moisturizer, face and eye mask, sunburn treatment, after waxing gel and hair mask.

It can be used in different ways, for example:

As a face mask: apply a thick layer on your face and leave it for 15min and then wash it off, if you have enough time leave it until it's fully absorbed. It soothes the skin, reduce the redness and the inflamed acne.
As an eye mask: apply a think layer on your eyes and leave it for 15 min and then wash it off. It soothes tired eyes, reduce the redness and puffiness.
After shaving gel: right after shaving/waxing to soothe the skin and reduce the redness, and prevent the ingrown hair, and heals the inflamed ones, it also speeds up wounds healing.
Sunburn treatment: apply it on the skin to soothe and refresh the skin. Can also be used on superficial burns caused by the oven ...
Hair mask: after washing and drying your hair, use it as a mask to strengthen and moisturize your hair. It also prevents hair loss, refines the curls and destroys the excessive dead cells in the scalp.
Body moisturizer / lotion: use it on your whole body after the shower, or after a tiring day outside in the hot weather to cool down your skin and refresh it.
There are more different ways to use it, suit yourself! (I might post some homemade remedies for hair/skin using this aloe vera gel later on, so please look forward to it)
