ARITAUM Pore Master Sebum Control Primer Review

by - April 12, 2019

Hello ~~

I've never really had a problem with my pores since they have never been noticeable, but recently they became a little bigger (nothing EH Beauty Shot Face Blur can't fix, reviewed here), but still I thought about trying something new that could work for my mum and sister as well since they have an oily skin with much more noticeable pores, that's why I wanted to try this Aritaum primer, especially after reading that it was a Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional dupe.

Description and claims:

- The breathing mineral polymer gel covers pores and irregularities smoothly for a flawless look!
- The micro-fine sebum control powder absorbs sebum for a matte finish!
- Green tea extracts sooth and tighten skin!

Volume: 25ml

Ingredients:

You can find the full ingredient list as well as their analytics here on CosDNA.

How to use:

Apply a small amount on areas with problem pores or irregularities such as the T-zone, nose areas, and cheeks and pat gently to spread. Wrap your face with hands to use the warmth to enhance absorption before applying makeup.

Packaging: 10/10

It comes in a simple squeeze tube with a tiny nozzle that makes it easy to control the the amount of product you wanna squeeze out.

Scent: 7/10

It has the typical siliconey scent most primers have.

Texture: 9/10

This is a thick paste that spreads out easily and makes it easy to fill out the pores.

Shade: 9/10

This primer comes in a nude-ish color that is supposed to match every skin tone once spread out.

Effectiveness: 9/10

This primer does a great job imo filling the pores (as you can see in the pictures below where I tried to hide my mum's pores) and leaving the skin silky smooth. It also increases the lasting power of the base make up and makes it slide on your skin seamlessly and look flawless. (in the pictures below, I've used the little amount shown in the picture above, I didn't want to add more just to let you know approximately what such amount can do. you can get a better results if you apply a bigger amount)

Moisture/oil control: 9/10

It does a great job controlling sebum and keeps your makeup from creasing.

Do I recommend it?

Yes. it is a really good primer that does everything it claims, and I can say that it is absolutely similar the the benefit porefessional primer but for a much affordable price.
