Leaders Insolution Moisturizing Recovery Coconut Mask: Review

by - September 08, 2017

I have always wanted to try Leaders sheet masks since I've heard lotta good stuff about them but unfortunately couldn't since they aren't available where I live, and they aren't sold in k-beauty websites I usually purchase from either. So when Leaders Cosmetics USA offered to send me some of their best selling masks about a month ago, I was really happy and agreed right away, and a couple of days later I found a small package waiting for me at home containing 5 of their sheet masks, as well as a cute head band and a couple of sheets with instructions and stuff:

I was happy to receive these masks, but I didn't know that one of them will become one of my HG masks, and even make it to my 2017 Best Of Skincare list

Enough blabbering, and let's move to the actual review.

Description:

Deeply Hydrating + All-Day Moisture: An ultra-hydrating mask that provides long-lasting moisture, leaving the skin feeling smooth and nourished. Peptides create a Moisturizing System by penetrating deep into the skin to give it a boost of instant hydration. Amino-acids reinforce the skins natural barrier to seal in moisture for a long-lasting hydrating effect.

Recommended for:

- Rough + Dry Skin

- Fine Lines + Wrinkles

Features:

Contains wrinkle-reducing Adenosine and a moisturizing peptide, Diffuporine, which helps supply continuous hydration. Amino acids ensure all-day smoothness. Extracts from plants and flowers help to promote healthy and supple skin.

How to use:

Apply to a freshly cleansed face. Remove mask from packaging and peel off protective film from one side. Attach mask to the face and remove the outer protective film. For best results, leave the mask on for 20-40 minutes before removing. Gently massage the excess serum into face and neck until fully absorbed.

Volume: 30ml

Ingredients:

Water, Methylpropanediol, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Dipropylene Glycol, Betaine, 1,2-Hexanediol, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Lactobacillus/Leuconostoc/Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Xanthan Gum, Xylitylglucoside, Adenosine, Anhydroxylitol, Fragrance, Ethylhexylglycerin, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbitan Isostearate, Polysorbate 60, Saururus Chinensis Extract, Ledum Palustre Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Ecklonia Cava Extract, Artemisia Capillaris Flower Extract, Xylitol, Gentiana Lutea Root Extract, Artemisia Absinthium Extract, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Glycine, Serine, Glutamic Acid, Aspartic Acid, Leucine, Alanine, Lysine, Arginine, Tyrosine, Phenylalanine, Valine, Threonine, Proline, Isoleucine, Histidine, Methionine, Cysteine, Acetyl Hexapeptide-37.

Packaging:

Just like other hydrogel masks, this mask is housed between two protection plastic films that make it easy to unwrap the mask and apply it on your face.

Sheet texture: 10/10

This mask is made of 100% naturally fermented coconut gel that claims to deliver 10 times more hydration. At first, I thought it would be just like the other hydrogels I've tried before: thick super slippery sheets that keep sliding off your face all the time if you don't lay down, So I was surprised when I found out that it's of a much better quality. It's actually pretty thin and smooth (it kinda looks like a rice roll paper), and adheres to the face perfectly which means you can move freely during your sheet masking session.

Essence: 10/10

This mask comes with a 30ml of thick essence which is a generous amount imo, and unlike other sheet masks where the essence keeps dripping all over the place and is practically wasted (unlike you recycle it like I do), you can pour this essence over the coconut gel mask and it will surprisingly suck it all up and efficiently deliver it to the skin.

Scent: 9/10

It smells like some soap or body lotion my mum used to use when we were kids, I can't really describe it. Nothing overwhelming.

Fit: 9/10

This mask fits nicely. The eye holes aren't too big (like the horrible elizavecca sheet masks) nor too small. Also, there is no left over sheet mask overlapping your hairline.
The only thing that's kinda off is that the mouth hole leaves a little part of my chin uncovered.

Performance: 10/10

There is really a huge difference between this mask and the other hydrogel masks I've tried. It hugs my skin perfectly and delivers all the goodies to my skin without absorbing it back.
After taking it off, my skin feels super hydrated and moisturised without being extra sticky or greasy. It also made my skin refreshed and glowing.
The effects last for considerably a long time compared to other moisturising sheet masks I've used before, which makes it perfect for people with dry/dehydrated skin like me.

Would I repurchase it?

Absolutely! I actually already asked my cousin who lives in the US to get me more of these and send them to me. But since they are quite hard to get, I'll probably use them once a week only instead of 3 times like they recommended

Where tu buy?

For US (and Canada I believe) residents:
Leaders Moisturizing Recovery Coconut Sheet Mask retails for $7 a sheet or $68 a box of 10 at Their official website and is also available many other places like Ulta and Ipsy I believe. (it is available pretty much everywhere.. you are lucky guys)

For international buyers:

I've checked every K-beauty website I know but couldn't find this mask anywhere (you can find the other Leaders masks on W2beauty, Stylekorean and Koreadepart, but not this one).

All that's left is to check the good ol' amazon and see if they ship to where you live (they don't ship to Morocco..) it retails here for $7 a mask and here for $65 a box of 10.
Please let me know If you could find it anywhere that ships internationally ♥
