Mamonde Creamy Tint Lip Color Balm Intense Review (No 22)

by - February 09, 2018

If you ask me what korean products you wanna try, I won't think twice before answering:

- Mamonde Creamy Tint Lip Color Balm Intense
- Peripera Peri's Ink Velvet
- Etude House Kiss Lating Tint

I've tried to get the kiss lasting tint multiple times (since there are only two colors that I reeeeeaaally wanna get) but the korean customs always send it back saying that there is something wrong with the packaging (how stupid is that?), so I ended up giving up. As for the other two, I wanna get the whole collection if I could but... money (mamonde have 47 colors, 10 bucks each... the day I would spend 470$ on lipsticks my dad will kick me out). That's why, on my latest haul, the first things I picked up were Mamonde Creamy Tint Lip Color Balm Intense in #22 and Peripera girl's cabinet (I couldn't not get it) along with some other products I love.

So today, I'm gonna talk about the one I'm currently in love with (and I'm probably gonna get kicked out since I reaaaaaaaaally wanna buy more shades, and I can't not try the velvet version): Mamonde Creamy Tint Lip Color Balm, Intense.

Description and Claims:

3 in 1 lip color with [Lipstick (Vivid color) + Tint (Long lasting power) + Lip balm (Moisturizing)]
There are 3 varieties: Light (more like a tinted balm), Intense (semi-matte) and Intense velvet (matte)
# 21-25: Stylish and depth up

Capacity: 3g

Packaging: 10/10

It's an easy to use auto pencil, all you have to do is twist off the colored bottom to push the stick out. it comes with a transparent plastic cap that goes halfway down the tube, which makes it less likely to come off when you put it in your purse. It comes in a simple black box with a colored band showing the lippie's color.

Scent: 10/10

It has a really light scent that you won't notice unless you put it right under your nose.

Texture: 9/10

This lippie is really smooth and creamy, and although it has a matte/semi-matte finish, it doesn't dry out the lips. But still, if you have dry patches on your lips, make sure to scrub them out first before applying it for a flawless look.

Pigmentation: 10/10

This product it highly pigmented, so you don't have to layer it, so a little goes a long way. Also, it is easily blendable so if you are a fan of gradient lips, this lippie would work just well for you.

Application: 10/10

The creamy texture makes it super easy to apply it evenly on your lips to get a full lip look, and since it's not toooooo creamy (oily) it doesn't smear out of your lips and  creating a spiderweb-like look around them, also since it's a crayon like product, it's easy to apply accurately around the edges of your  lips (unless you have really thin lips, you better use a lip brush then)
And as mentioned above, you can also use it for gradient lips since it's easy to blend and thus you can control the gradient.

Hydration/Moisture: 7/10

Since this isn't a water tint, it doesn't dry out the lips but instead adds a little more moisture to it. But it's not as hydrating as they make it seem (a lot less hydrating than a lip balm)

Lasting Power: 7/10

It does a decent job lasting throughout the day, but it fades in the center of your lips after a greasy meal. Also it isn't transfer nor kiss proof, so it fades this way as well.

Would I repurchase it?

Yes! I love it and would probably buy the other shades as well (sorry wallet)
