Peripera Peri's Ink Minimini Set Girls Cabinet in Girl Crush: Review and Swatches

by - February 16, 2018

Hi lovelies~~
I'm back again with a new review,  yaay ~

When I reviewed the mamonde lippie last time (here), I mentioned that peripera ink lip tints are on the top on my "lippies to try" list, and recently, I got the Peripera Peri's Ink Minimini Set Girls Cabinet in hot pink, and today I'm gonna share with you what I think about it.

Description and Claims:

The Limited-Edition Set Includes the Complete Peri's Ink Collection.
Also comes with the New Limited-Edition Peri's Ink 'Captivating Quart'!
Cute Stickers to Create your Own Tin Case!

Capacity: 2.7g × 5ea

Packaging: 10/10

The packaging is absolutely eye-catching. both the box and the tin cabinet are glossy hot pink, have kinda identical designs with some information in both korean and english printed on the back.

It also comes with a random set of stickers to customize your cabinet the way you want. I thought the stickers are made of paper when I first saw it online but  seems like it's made of some kind of fabric.

Inside the cabinet, you get five tiny teeny adorable bottles that are kinda similar to the full version but much smaller (I took a pic of them side by side to give you an idea about their size)

They all have the same applicator except for the ink velvet one, you can see the difference in the pictures bellow:

Ink the velvet:

The others:

Scent: 9/10

The lip tints have a sweet candy smell, which you might not like, but I'm totally fine with it, while the peripera ink drop BB smells like... BB cream, but the scent isn't as strong as the other bb creams, I think it has the lightest smell out of all the bb creams I've tried before.

Mini Reviews and Swatches:

To be honest, I wanted to try the baby pink/blue one since I kinda liked the colors better, but since they were out of stock I went for the hot pink one and let me tell you, I'm glad I did. as you can notice on my swatches, the colors on the website are kinda deceiving and look nothing like the actual colors which are prettier in my opinion.

Limited edition: Rose Quartz 10/10

This was the one that surprised me the most. I was expecting something between a hot pink and a crimson pink but it ended up being a lovely rose. it looks really natural and can be used as an everyday lippie. It dries up in seconds (the fastest out of all of them) and doesn't transfer at all. it lasts for about 3-4 hours (it would probably last much longer if you don't lick your lips constantly like I do) but once the rosy color starts fading, it leaves a darker pink stain behind that stays for quite long time (kinda similar to the color in the swatches provided by peripera).
Also, it has the most liquidy texture out of all of them but still pigmented which means a little goes a long way. I think this is the one I will be using the most.

The Original: No spoiler 9/10

This one is thicker than the Rose Quartz one and needs longer time to dry fully, but once it dries it becomes kiss proof which is always a plus. The color is nothing near a true red which was a little disappointing, but also it wasn't an orangey red but a pinkish red instead which is fine by me (don't get me wrong, I love orange and orangish lippies, I just prefer them as lipsticks instead of lip tints).
It lasts longer than the previous one (maybe because it's a darker color so you can see it longer).

The moisture: Miss Adorable 8/10

This one is the stickier out of the bunch. It feels like it never dries and thus it isn't kiss proof which is kinda understandable since it has a glossy finish. The color is kinda similar to the no spoiler one, but this one is more vibrant while the other is slightly darker. I feel like it isn't as pigmented as the others (but still fairly pigmented) and it lasts about 4 hours before it starts loosing it glossiness, but it leaves a reddish pink stain behind that doesn't fade for hours.

The velvet: Inkrush 9/10

I love the ink velvet line which means I loved this one as well. This is so far the only one that looks irl like it does on the pictures provided by Peripera; a true orange. This one is the thickest out of all of these lippies and takes a considerably long time to dry fully (usually about 15 minutes...but today it seemed like it took hours so I got tired from waiting and even tried to blow dry it and ended up drying my already dehydrated skin instead.. that's why I took a pic of it when it's still "wet") It dries into a velvety finish that is similar to matte lipsticks (sticks not liquid lippies). It lasts really long and looks really pretty but unfortunately it transfers a little. The stain it leaves is actually the same color as the product itself so it doesn't look weird when it starts fading.
Some people found it kinda drying but I didn't even though I have dry lips, so I think it depends on individuals or something? I don't know.

Ink Drop BB 5/10

This bb cream is really watery (I've never tried a similar bb cream before), it has a really light coverage and gives a matte finish. It is suitable for people with nice skins and maybe a minor redness that the wanna hide and still look natural.
This bb cream comes in two shades, I've got the No 2 and it's a little bit darker than my skin, while the No 1 might be a tiny bit lighter if it is anything like the peripera bb cushions, which means this bb cream is only suitable for people with fair skin tones (I'm NW15 btw).

Would I repurchase it?

I'll probably purchase more shades (especially from the velvet line), and would absolutely get the full version of the Rose Quartz if I find it. If you are curious about peripera's products, I absolutely recommend purchasing this one and trying it out, it's worth the money and the packaging is adorable and can be used later to store your eyeliners or lip pencils or something.

Where to buy:

It's a limited edition.. too bad
