Glow With Mei

COSRX is one of the few brands who focus on proven ingredients and effective formulations and avoid any non-sense ingredients that do nothing but raise the risk of skin irritation. That's why whenever they drop a new product, I get excited and try to get my hands on it, let alone when this new product is a moisture version of the One Step Pimple Pads that's I'm so in love with (and that I reviewed recently here).
Ps: I know that it isn't considered new anymore since it has been released many months ago, but it was when I first purchased it xD

Description and claims:

Formulated with hyaluronic acid, propolis, and natural BHA, the One Step Moisture Up Pad increases the absorptivity of the skin for maximized hydration that lasts all day while replenishing the natural balance and removing irritants and dead cells from the skin for a happy, healthy skin. Perfect for sensitive, easily irritated skin, the One Step Moisture Up Pad is the perfect little solution for a simpler, more effective skin care routine.

Price: 17500 KRW

Volume: 70 pads

How to use:

1) Using the embossing side, gently wipe the entire face, avoiding the eye areas.
2) Flip the pad to the soft side and wipe the entire face once more.
3) Close the lid tightly after each use to prevent the pads from drying.

Ingredients:

Propolis Extract (70%), Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Betaine, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine Salicylate (0.5%) , Panthenol, Allantoin, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate, Copolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil

What skincare routine step is this?
This product can supposedly replace a basic skincare routine minus cleansing and sunscreen. But you can use it instead of your hydrating toner or lotion. Check my Skincare101 series in case you are confused about what products go first in a Korean skincare routine.

What skin type might like this?
As a one step skincare routine, these pads can be used by practically every skin type, but for those with dry/dehydrated skin, this would work better as a toner/lotion replacement.

What kind of people might like this?
Those who are pressed in the morning and don't have time for a full skincare routine, or who come back home super tired and all they want to do is go to bed (I'm just making excuses to justify my laziness xD)

Packaging:

The packaging is exactly the same as their best seller COSRX One Step Pimple Pad. The only two differences are Mr RX position and the color: this one's jar is light blue while the pimple pad one is red.

Scent:
It has a citrusy scent that reminds me of FA Cologne.

Pads:
These pads are soaked in enough essence to use on your face, neck and the back of your hands and have two sides: A textured side to gently exfoliate the skin, and a smooth side to allow the essence to soak into the skin. The textured side isn't really rough so even those with sensitive skin can use it (except if you are allergic to one of the ingredients of course)

pH level: 5

Effectiveness:
Right after using this moisture up pad, my skin feels instantly moisturised without stickiness.
I've been using it every morning for the past couple of weeks and I noticed that my skin became less flaky and bumpy, which is totally understandable since these pads contain heaps of propolis extract and Hyaluronic acid that can't not hydrate the skin, coupled with mild exfoliation to gently get rid of all the upmost layer of dead skin cells and allow all the goodies soaked in the pad to get deep into the skin.
Will COSRX ever disappoint me? I don't think so.

What's good?
- Really moisturizing and hydrating
- Convenient
- Easy to use
- Can replace a basic skincare (except for cleansing and sunscreen) on the busy days (especially for those of you with normal/combination/oily skin that doesn't need much layering)

What's not good?
I honestly can't think about anything.

Will I repurchase it?
Most definitely!

Where to buy?
- Amazon (Prime) for $13.99 (Click here for an Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial)
- StyleKorean for $15.20
- Wishtrend for $19 (you can use my referral code 125028803 upon registration to get $5 off your first $30 or above order)

So what do you think about these pads? Have you got your hands on them yet? if not, do you think you need to add them to your skincare routine or are you more interested in the other BHA/AHA pads? let me know in the comments below!

Hello Lovelies~

Many people use makeup to boost their confidence and hide their flaws (which isn't a bad thing at all, I'm all for doing whatever makes you feel better in your skin), but they forget that they can actually achieve a more or less fresh and flawless skin even as they get older without damaging it further.

Also, don't you think that actually having a nice skin would make you happier than always relying on makeup to achieve it? That's what I thought as well.

I'm no pro but during the last few years, I learned how to embrace my flaws since nobody's gonna do it in my behalf, and try to achieve a healthy skin - I still have a long way to go - but I think that I have many things to share to help the others, especially since many people around me are new to skincare and most of them know next to nothing, thus the reason why I decided to start this "Skincare 101" series where more or less the following sections will be covered (I might add some others, lemme know if there is anything you wanna read about), hopefully you'll find them helpful:

- What is your skin type? ← We are here
- Basic Korean skincare routine
- 10 not so common ingredients widely used in K-beauty
- Double cleansing: why should we double cleanse?
- Exfoliation: Chemical vs Physical
- Wash-off masks: Types and purposes
- Toners: Types, and how are they different from western toners?
- Acids and Actives.
- First essences: What are they exactly?
- Serums, Ampoules: What is the difference?
- Moisturisers: Lotion, Emulsion, Gel and Cream: What's the difference?
- Eye creams: Why should you use and eye cream?
- Sheet masks: Tips and Tricks
- Pores: how to deal with them?
- Acne: Products that helped me and my siblings to get rid of my acne.
Ps: Keep in mind that I will include in each step some recommendations by skin type.

To start an effective skincare routine, it is imperative to know your skin type first otherwise you might make things even worse. I'm gonna talk today about the most common skin types, hopefully you will be able to identify your skin type after reading this post.
Ps: I didn't include sensitive skin and rosacea since It would take ages to detail them and talk about everything concerning them. Let me know in a comment down below if you want me to write about them.

Normal Skin Type:

Normal skin is a balanced skin that produces just enough oil to moisturize itself and stay soft and supple.

Traits:

- Barely any imperfections or visible pores (few if any)
- No sever sensibility
- The skin doesn't feel too tight/dry nor too shiny/oily
- A radiant complexion.

So those of you guys with a normal skin type should consider themselves lucky, and take care of it.

Goals:

Even though your skin is balanced and is in a good condition, it still isn't perfect and might become occasionally troubled and eventually would age as the time goes on, so what you should aim is a healthy skin with minimal signs of aging. This can be easily achieved by a balanced hydration, antioxidants and a UVB and UVA protection.

Recommendations:

- A refreshing toner
- First essences (when needed)
- Light moisturizers, essences and ampoules rich with antioxidants
- SUNSCREEN

Things to avoid:

- Harsh skincare products designed for skin troubles you don't have
- Heavy moisturizers
- Harsh cleansers that would break your moisture barrier and strip your face from its natural moisture.

Oily Skin Type:

Oily skin is a skin that produces way much more sebum than it needs to maintain the moisture barrier and keep the skin soft and supple, so it ends up being extra shiny with lots of clogged pores and blemishes

Traits:

- Shiny or dull skin, especially by the end of the day
- Enlarged pores, blackheads and whiteheads
- Acne, lots of it.
- Thick complexion

Goals:

- Hydrating your skin: Many of you think that an oily skin means that you should skip your moisturizer/hydrating products and this is wrong. Oily skin needs to be hydrated as well, and most of the acne can be actually caused by skin irritation due to lack of hydration.
- Preventing new breakouts and healing the old ones
- Fading acne scars
- Getting rid of black and white heads
- fixing any other skin troubles you might have

Recommendations:

- A good exfoliating agent (either scrub or peeling gel) to prevent more clogged pores
- Clay or charcoal masks
- A low pH cleanser that won't break your moisture barrier and strip your skin from its oils but still clean it and get rid of excess oils.
- Refreshing toners
- BHA and AHA products (make sure to introduce them gradually to your skincare routine and use a sunscreen) to get rid of blackheads, whiteheads and acne
- Niacinamide or Vitamin C serums or ampules to brighten up the skin complexion and get rid of Hyperpigmentation.
- A light emulsion or lotions
- Gel moisturizers
- Pore serums
- SUNSCREEN

Things you should avoid:

- Heavy , oil based creams
- Heavy face oils

Ingredients to look for:

- Witch hazel
- Retinol
- Salicylic Acid
- Sulfur
- Benzoyl peroxide
- Kaolin and Bentonite (clay masks)
- Tea tree oil
- Glycolic acid
- Hyaluronic acid and glycerin
- Aloe Vera
- Silica and Magnesium Aluminum Silicate
- Niacinamide

Ingredients to avoid:

- Petrolatum

Combination Skin Type:

The skin can be oily in some areas (mainly the T-zone) and normal or dry in others (mainly the U zone). This is the most common skin type I believe.

Traits:

- Pores larger than normal
- Oily parts are shiny, have pimples and black/whiteheads
- Dry parts are often tight, with dry patches

Goals:
Have a balanced skin with no major breakouts and pore problems nor major dryness.

Recommendations:

- Clay masks and moisturizing wash-off masks: you don't have to apply them on your whole face. use both of them at the same time each on the concerned area. Or you can mix honey masks and clay masks together and apply them on your face.
- Refreshing and hydrating toners
- Light moisturizers. You can use a heavier moisturizer on your dry areas. If you have a combination oily/normal skin, then light moisturizers will be enough
- Products rich in antioxidants
- Spot treatments
- SUNSCREEN

Things to avoid:

- Using heavy products on your oily zones
- Avoid neglecting the lack of moisture in the other parts of your face if there is any.

Dry Skin Type:

This skin type lacks moisture. The skin is unable to produce enough sebum to maintain an effective moisture barrier, which would cause a rough dry skin that might crack, peel, become itchy and easily irritated, and tend to age quickly compared to other skin types since the moisture barrier doesn't only lock the moisture in the skin, but protects it from external agents like bacteria, microorganisms and harmful sun rays.

Traits:

- Scaly and flaky skin
- Small, almost invisible pores
- Dull, Rough skin complexion
- Easily formed fine lines
- The skin feels dry and tight
- Might break out as well since it's easily irritated due to the lack of moisture

Goals:

You should rebuild your moisture barrier, keep your skin hydrated and prevent it from aging sooner than it should.

Recommendations:

- Exfoliation: You should exfoliate your skin to get rid of all these flaky patches, without overdoing it since it might dry out your skin even more
- Mild cleanser: You want to clean your face without stripping your skin from oils it doesn't have in the first place
- Hydrating toners.
- First essences
- Rich moisturizers: you might need to layer your moisturizers
- Face oils
- Hydrating night packs to lock in the moisture during the night.
- Use a humidifier
- Products with lots of antioxidants
- SUNSCREEN

Things to avoid:

- Alkaline (high pH) cleansers since they strip the skin from its moisture.
- Toners with lots of alcohol in it since it might dry out the skin even more
- Over exfoliating: it can dry out the skin even more
- Artificial UV rays
- Sitting right in front of the air conditioner and indoor heating
- Too hot temperatures

Ingredients to look for:

- Shea butter or cacao butter
- Glycerin
- Hyaluronic acid
- Lanolin
- Petrolatum
- Paraffin
- Beeswax
- Squalene
- Coconut, jojoba, sesame, almond, and other plant oils
- Cetyl alcohol
- Olive oil (oleic acid)
- Triethylhexanoin
- Propylene glycol
- Sorbitol
- Sodium PCA
- Allantoin
- Urea
- Stearic acid

Ingredients to avoid:

- Alcohol
- Sulfates
- Salicylic acid
- Retinoids
- Benzoyl Peroxide

But what about Dehydrated skin?

Dehydrated skin is actually a skin condition and not a skin type. Which means, any of the previously mentioned skin types can become dehydrated due to environmental, nutritional or hormonal factors, but it isn't permanent.

What is the difference between Dry and Dehydrated skin?

Like I said before, dry skin lacks moisture, and most likely you would be dry everywhere: face, hands body, scalp etc, and your skin tends to absorb moisturizers like deserts absorb water.
Meanwhile, dehydrated skin lacks water. so you might feel like your skin is kinda oily yet flaky, or you have lots of dry patches and at the same time have black/whiteheads and acne. This is because when the skin becomes dehydrated, it starts producing more sebum to compensate but ends up worsening the situation instead.

To help you understand better, here are two situations:

- Person A has a tight flaky skin during the winter, but during summer when they start eating properly, drinking more water and the weather becomes less dry and cold, their skin becomes normal or oily.
→ Person A has a dehydrated skin condition

- Person B has a thigh flaky skin during winter, and during summer when they start eating properly, drinking more water and the weather is less harsh, their skin still doesn't produce enough oil, and they possibly still have some dry patches here and there.
→ Person B has a dry skin type

So what should I do to avoid dehydrated skin?

You should avoid what's causing it (if possible). the main causes are:

- Poor diet with barely any fruits and veggies
- Eating lots of greasy junk food OR having a fat-free diet. Balance is the key guys
- Not drinking enough water
- Living in a dry and windy environment (or the air conditioner is constantly blasting in your face)
- Excessive alcohol intake
- Aging
- Makeup
- Drying agents
- Excessive exfoliation
- Iron deficiency / anemia
- Some hormonal imbalances (such as thyroid imbalances)

Most of the time dehydrated skin is related to nutritional factors, so make sure you drink enough water and have a balanced diet.

But Mei, What is YOUR skin type?

I have a combination (oily/normal) acne prone dehydrated skin xD (I don't drink enough water and I have an horribly unbalanced diet, as well as anemia *hides shamefully*)

Which means I have oily and super dehydrated T-zone (lots of flakes you have no idea, especially around my eyebrows), with normal and kinda sensitive U-zone, and lots of redness in my cheeks area (I don't have rosacea) , as well as dry and sensitive lips. Something like the picture below:

The struggle is real.

Now that you know my skin type (and conditions), Let me know in a comment down bellow what is YOURS ^^

When it comes to skincare, COSRX is without doubt my go-to brand. I've probably tried about 80% of their products (and loved most of them if not all) that's why, I decided, throughout the following weeks, to review some of the COSRX products I'm currently using. And today, I'm gonna review one of their last year's best sellers and one of the products that made it to my basic skincare routine since the first day I've tried it: the infamous COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad.

Description and claims:
Easy to use, anywhere & everywhere, the One Step Pimple Clear Pad is designed for
on-the-go emergencies and made with all-natural ingredients to reduce the irritations while
deeply penetrating the pores to clear unwanted gunk to transform your skin into the beautiful,
flawless being you are!

COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad clears up existing pimples and helps eliminate blackheads. Pads unclog pores and dissolves deep down oil with Betaine Salicylate.
One-step pimple clear pads that reduces acne breakouts and promotes clearer skin. Promotes exfoliation of dead surface cells resulting in enhances cellular renewal with Betaine Salicylate. Leaves skin cleaner, clearer and blemish free.

Claims:
+ Natural BHA enables immediate trouble care and purification
+ Makes pure skin by removing waste and sebum in pore
+ Controls sebum
+ Supplies moisture to skin

Price: 17500 KRW

Volume: 70 pads

How to use:
1) After cleansing, gently wipe the face with one pad, avoiding the eye area.
2) When using for specific target areas such as the forehead, nose, or chin, be careful not to irritate other parts and try to lightly wipe at only the oily or troublesome area.
3) After use, make sure the lid is screwed on tightly so the solution doesn’t dry.
4) Do not wash off, and continue with your normal makeup routine ! (Up to 3 times use per day is recommended ; 1-2 times use per day is recommended for dry skin or for teenagers.)

Ingredients:
Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Betaine Salicylate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Arginine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Panthenol, Allantoin, Ethyl Hexanediol, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hyaluronate

What skincare routine step is this?
This can be used multiple ways:
- To remove your heavy makeup before cleansing
- Instead of your toner (which is how I usually use it)
- as a spot treatment/sheet mask by putting it on top of your troubled area and leaving it for about 5 min before taking it off.

What skin type might like this?
All skin types, especially acne prone skin.

Packaging:

The 70 pads come in a large white jar with red accent, and a picture of Mr Rx printed on the twist off lid.

The jar is larger than the pads themselves which makes picking them up easier.

Scent:
The first thing I noticed when I opened the jar is that these pads smell like COSRX Oil Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion which is a nice scent that I can't really recognize but has a hint of citrus and something else to it.

Pads:

The pads have two different sides:
- An embossed side that is supposed to exfoliate the skin, get rid of impurities and regulate sebum production. It's not as rough as I expected it to be, which is better considering this is used everyday and you don't wanna over exfoliate your skin.
- A smooth side that is supposed to hydrate, promote smoother and better skin texture which I'm not really buying since the pad is soaked in the same kinda essence on both sides, and the rougher side is the one supposed to smooth out the skin right?
Anyways, these pads retain a lot of essence in them, enough for your face, neck and hands (I might sound cheap but whenever I'm almost out of it and I'm yet to receive another jar, I cut these pads in half and use them, and even then they still have enough essence for my whole face).

pH level: 4.5

Effectiveness:
Like you might already know, I really love COSRX, but still, I wasn't expecting much from this product since it only contains 1% of BHA only, but after trying it for a while I was surprised how my skin was loving it, my skin texture was improving and my tiny pimples on my forehead were decreasing and my skin looked much clearer. It doesn't improve your skin overnight like some youtubers claim, but it does a really nice job in the long run.
Other than using it as a toner, I've been putting these pads on my cheeks whenever I feel some pimples are about to show their ugliness to the world to stop them from appearing or at least from being as awful ad they were about to be.

What's good?
- Very convenient to use
- Can be used both as a toner and as a spot treatment
- Improves the skin texture
- Reduces the severity of breakouts
- Not irritating

What's not good?
- If you are used to strong acids in your skincare routine, this one would probably be too gentle for your liking.

Will I repurchase it?
Yes! it's my 4th jar already actually.

Where to buy?
- Amazon (Prime) for $16.86  (Click here for an Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial)
- StyleKorean for $18.66
- Wishtrend for $19 (you can use my referral code 125028803 upon registration to get $5 off your first $30 or above order)

So what do you think about BHA pads? Have you tried any? How do you compare these to other BHA pads from other brands you've already used before? Let me know in the comments below!

Watching Eddy and Joan rave about Troiareuke for this past year made me wanna try it out for myself, but unfortunately couldn't since it wasn't available online at first, and once I could get my hands on it I purchased some of their products immediately (although it was quite a budget tbh, but it's worth it).

Those who know me probably know that I'm a huge fan of bb cushions and lipsticks, so of course I had to get one of their cushions and see about this 99% skincare 1% makeup thingie I've always heard about.

They have 3 types of cushions:
- Troipeel H+ Healing cushion
- Troiareuke Acsen A+ Cushion
- Troiareuke Seoul Aesthetic cushion

I initially wanted to try the A+ cushion but since it only comes in the shade 23, I had to get the H+ cushion instead since it comes in the shade 21.

Description and claims:

Volume: 15g

Main Ingredients:

Packaging: 10/10

The H+ cushion comes in a simplistic white packaging with green accent and reminds me of medicines which goes well with their concept: Prescribed Cosmetics.

It comes with two beige air puffs that are larger and thicker than the typical blue air puffs.

Also, the box it comes in has tiny gold shimmers as you can see in the picture below (the picture doesn't show how it really is...)

They use a mochi cushion system that prevents the product from oxidizing, and thus every time you use it the bb cream will be as fresh as a new one.

Scent: 7/10
It has a quite strong floral scent, but once you apply it it fades away.

Shades: 5/10
This bb cushion comes in only one shade which is the major downside of this cushion. Hopefully they make more shades (and offer the 13 or 21 shade for the A+ cushion since I heard it's much better than this one)

They claim that it is supposed to match the skin later on (I can't really tell since I have a fair skin), but I noticed that it gets a tad bit darker (nothing major though) 30 minutes or so after applying it.

Undertone: This cushion has a neutral undertone.

SPF: 50 PA+++ which means you might look like a ghost if you took pictures with flash while having this bb cushion on (or any other korean bb cushion for this matter)

In the picture below, I swatched some bb cushions/creams I have to give you an idea about its color (PS: The missha bb cream one is inaccurate because I found out later that I used an expired one instead of the new one)

Coverage: 7/10
Many people say that this cushion offers a high coverage but I don't really agree. It offers a medium coverage that is higher than many cushions out there but still nowhere near a full coverage, but still it's really surprising considering the amount of skincare it has. So if you have some major redness or breakout you might need to use a concealer as well.

Finish: 7.5/10
I was expecting this cushion to have a dewy finish but it ended up having a semi matte finish instead (I'm not complaining since I'm not really a fan of overly dewy foundations), and it's not sticky either.

Another thing I like about this cushion is that it hides most of the pores instead of emphasizing them, that being said, you might need to apply a primer if you have huge pores (but then this defies the purpose of this cushion and would prevent the skincare in it from reaching your skin.)

But of course, no cushion is perfect and this one isn't either. even though it's supposed to target those with dry skin, it unfortunately does cling to some of my dry patches, so keep this in mind and make sure your skin is exfoliated.

Moisture: 8/10
This cushion claims to have a water wrapping system that forms a thin moisture layer on the skin surface to prevent the trans epidermal water loss and give a long lasting moisturized skin, and true to its words, it does feel moisturizing on the skin and doesn't dry it out even after few hours from having it on.

Lasting power:
6/10
The Troipeel H+ Cushion didn't really last longer than 5 hours before it started separating around my nose. Keep in mind that I didn't use a primer nor set it with a powder, so it might last longer than this.

What about its skincare benefits? 10/10
As you might already know, I have a dehydrated, combination acne prone skin with kinda sensitive cheeks (what a lovely skin I have), so I tend to break out whenever I have a foundation for longer than 8 hours, let alone if I sleep without washing it off, that's why (for your sake guys) I slept one day without taking it off, and guess what? Nothing happened! no breakouts, no new blackheads!

I also kept a basic skincare routine and used this for two weeks to see if it would improve my skin, and I noticed that it reduced my redness and my pimples tend to heal faster and my skin tend to break out less.

Another thing the Troipeel H+ Cushion claims is that it can be used even after laser (and microneedles treatment), so I convinced a friend of mine who are getting a laser treatment to try it after her treatment session and see if her skin would be irritated or anything, and thankfully it didn't (she would have killed me if anything happened to her skin)

Do I recommend it?
Yes! It is a really decent bb cushion that offers lots and lots of skin benefits for those of you with an acne prone skin! It is kinda pricey but then again many people use IOPE, LANEIGE, HERA, Sulwhasoo and many other bb cushions that are from the same price range or with a higher price tag.

That's true that this one isn't as long lasting as the other bb cushions mentioned, but the skincare benefits are really worth it if you have an acne prone skin.

Also, if you can pull both 21 and 23 shades or just don't mind it and had to choose between the A+ and H+ cushion, I'd recommend you go for the A+ cushion since it lasts longer and depending on what a friend of mine told me, doesn't cling to dry patches either.

You can buy it:

Troipeel H+ Cushion:
- Amazon for $38 (Click here for an Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial)

Troiareuke Acsen A+ Cushion:
- Amazon for $37.99 (Click here for an Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial)

If I had to pick one skincare product that I'm always skeptical about and do my utmost best to look into ingredients and patch test it multiple times before finally applying it to my face, it would be toners. My skin have reacted really badly to many toners in the past, and I had to spend so much time and money to save my skin, and I don't wanna relive that.
So today, I'm gonna talk about one of the few toners that don't irritate my skin, but improve it instead, it's dear Klairs supple preparation toner.

Description and claims:
The first burst of hydration the skin meets is a toner.
Meet the non-irritating toner that rejuvenates and restores hydration for tired skin

The first burst of water
KLAIR’S toner hydrates and calms sensitive skin post-cleansing and tidies the skin texture to smoothen while maintaining the optimal pH balance to help the absorption of other products as well. With a various plant extracts and soothing ingredients blended together for a calming formula, the non-irritating, super hydrating toner can be used for sensitive skin as well.

Faster absorption, enhanced hydration
The skin glows brighter with higher moisture retention. The Renewal Toner is prescribed with an upgraded moisturizer that rapidly absorbs into the skin while prolonging hydration by more than 20% than conventional toners with hyaluronic acid and beta-glucan. For dry skin, use 2-3 times consecutively to help relieve strain from dry skin. With decreased oiliness and increased absorption, it’s suitable all year around for oily skin as well.

Improve & fill the gaps
The new toner exceeds the capacity of the conventional toner by 30ml and can be used more generously with the replacement and exclusion of all components which may be irritating to sensitive skin by natural ingredients. Improve your experience with the improved package as well!

Source: wishtrend

Volume: 180ml

Ingredients:
Water, Butylene Glycol, Dimethyl Sulfone, Betaine, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Natto Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, Centella Asiatica Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Polyquaternium-51, Chlorphenesin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carbomer, Panthenol, Arginine, Luffa Cylindrica Fruit/Leaf/Stem Extract, Beta-Glucan, Althaea Rosea Flower Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Lysine HCL, Proline, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Acetyl Methionine, Theanine, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Copper Tripeptide-1

How to use:
- After cleansing, apply an appropriate amount to clean skin and use the heat of your palms to help the complete absorption. For dry areas, multiple applications are recommended.
- If using a cotton pad, soak the pad completely.

pH: 4.5

The scent:
Klairs signature scent: a pleasant flowery scent that fades away once the product is absorbed.

The performance:
Like I've mentioned before, I've always been skeptical when it comes to toners, since many of them left me utterly disappointed and confused because they break me out awfully, and I end up most of the time with a disastrous skin that I fortunately was able to restore thanks to Tiam My Signature C Source (that I reviewed here)
That's why, I was hesitant about using this toner at first even though it is an alcohol free toner, but seems like there was nothing to worry about.
I happened to try this toner sometime mid 2014, and I fell in love with it since it cooled and soothed my skin instead of doing what I was afraid of, irritating it, it also is noticeably hydrating and somehow helped restoring my dry skin and healing the few problematic spots I have.

This toner has a watery consistency so it is quickly absorbed, without leaving any sticky residue nor making my skin feel tight which is always a plus for me. It has a low  pH level as well unlike most of the other hydrating toners, which is also a good thing for your skin.
So, everything combined, I really love this toner, and from the first few times I've tried it I knew that it would be one of my favorite toners for a really long time, and I was right, it's been almost 4 years and I'm still using it (along with another toner that I fell in love with along the way, check its review up here)
