Glow With Mei

I have always wanted to try a lavender blusher, so when A'pieu collaborated with Rilakkuma and came with these new cushion blushers, I knew that I had to get one!

Description and Claims:

Capacity: 10g

Packaging: 8/10

This Rilakkuma cushion blusher come in a smaller version of your typical cushion compact. It is kinda similar to the Tonymoly Pokemon Cushion blusher (that I reviewed here) but is more bulky and kinda cuter imo. I'm still taking 2 points because it would have looked much cuter if they made it 3D or something. I love rilakkuma and I know they could do much better.

Shades: 7/10

This cushion blusher comes in 5 color options: 4 blushers and 1 shading color, which isn't really a wide range of colors compared to etude house and missha blushers, but still is a decent variety compared to other korean brands. They have all the basic colors as well which isn't bad either.

Scent: 9/10

It smells like typical bb creams.

Texture: 10/10

The cushion is saturated with liquidy cream blush. It is more watery than your typical bb cream but still doesn't affect your base makeup. It also is easily blendable and doesn't dry out the skin.

Pigmentation and color pay off: 7/10

I don't know about the other colors, but the one I got isn't super pigmented, but still, it looks really pretty and it brightens up the complexion and gives me a nice glow.

Application: 9/10
If you are used to bb cushions, then you would love this product's application. It comes with a small puff that makes it easy to spread out the product on your cheeks and blend it out prettily.
Just keep in mind that you should tap the puff on your cheeks instead of swiping it, to avoid wiping your base makeup or unnecessarily move it around.

Lasting Power: 7/10

It isn't super lasting to be honest compared to western cream/powder blushes, and I think it has the same lasting power as the tonymoly one

Would I repurchase it?
I like it but I'll probably try other cushion blushers first and then decide which one is worth repurchasing.

Where did I get it from?

A’PIEU Rilakkuma Air Fit Cushion Blusher retails for $7.37 and is available in 5 shades at Ibuybeauti

Hiyaa~~
Here I'm back again with another bb cushion review ~~
You might already know that I love peripera lippies, that's why I decided to give their bb cushions a  try as well (and if the main reason I got them is because of their cute packaging, no one has to know)

Description and claims:

Volume: 13g

Packaging: 10/10

This bb cushion comes in a BlackPink (ahm) box with the usual peripera drawing that reminds me so much of 2NE1 on the front and some additional information on the back.

The cushion's packaging is similar to your typical bb cushion, with a pearly pink top and a black base, a push button and quite thick beige air puff.

Scent: 8/10

It vaguely smells like a mixture floral soaps and sunscreen. Nothing overwhelming.

Shades: 6/10

This cushion comes in only 2 shades:
- No 1 Light Vanilla
- No 2  Natural Beige
I got the No 1 shade and seems like it's darker than the usual 21 bb cushions I have. I compared it with Missha M Magic Cushion but the difference doesn't show much on camera.

Undertone: This cushion has a neutral undertone that runs sliiiiightly on the pink side (well at least compared to the missha bb cushion, it looked less yellow to me).
SPF: 50 PA+++ which means you might look like a ghost if you took pictures with flash while having this bb cushion on (or any other korean bb cushion for this matter)

Texture: 6/10

The cushion is saturated with product, and the BB cream is so lightweight, spread thinly and adheres well to the skin. It can be kinda sticky and transfers during the first couple of minutes.

Coverage: 5/10

This BB cushion has a light to medium coverage that can't be really built up. I personally had to apply at least two layers to hide all the redness around my nose and cheeks, so if you are looking for coverage, this might not be the right one for you.

Finish: 7/10

This BB cushion has a dewy finish, and feels really hydrating thanks to the avocado oil and Shea butter included in it.
Having a dehydrated combination skin, I'm always concerned about foundations clinging to my dry patches and emphasizing them, which this BB cushion sadly did, and separating around my nose and cheeks, which surprisingly didn't happen after using this one even though it is fairly moisturizing.

Lasting power: 5/10

Just like many other moisturizing BB cushions, this one doesn't last for longer than 3-4 hours before you'll have to reapply it. It doesn't cake up when you reapply it (just make sure you aren't applying more than 2-3 layers), and wears off nicely, no ugly separation around my nose and cheeks.

Do I recommend it?

Umm no not really.. Unless you have a perfect skin and need to add this natural dewy glow to your skin. Also, keep in mind that the shades run a little darker than your typical 21.

The first step of a proper AM or PM skincare routine is always cleansing, and double cleansing is one of the most important steps of the famous Korean 10-step skincare routine, but only few understand the reason we should do it. I mean, why should we waste our time and money cleansing twice using two different products when we can just wipe our eye and lip makeup and use a foam cleanser if we are feeling extra? Isn't it the same thing?
Well the answer is NO, it's not. So together, let's discover why through this article

But before we start, I wanna let you know that this post is the fourth part of my "Skincare 101" series. If you haven't checked the previous parts yet, make sure to check them out they are really full of interesting stuff. (if I had to say so myself)

- What is your skin type?
- Basic Korean skincare routine
- 10 not so common ingredients widely used in K-beauty
- Double cleansing: why should we double cleanse? ← We are here
- Exfoliation: Chemical vs Physical
- Wash-off masks: Types and purposes
- Toners: Types, and how are they different from western toners?
- Acids and Actives: Vitamin C, BHA and AHA
- First essences: What are they exactly?
- Serums, Ampoules: What is the difference?
- Moisturisers: Lotion, Emulsion, Gel and Cream: What's the difference?
- Eye creams: Why should you use and eye cream?
- Sheet masks: Tips and Tricks
- Pores: how to deal with them?
- Acne: Products that helped me and my siblings to get rid of my acne.
Ps: Keep in mind that I will include in each step some recommendations by skin type.

First of all,

What does double cleansing mean?

Double cleansing is a two step process that involves using two kinds of cleansers:
- An oil or balm cleanser to dissolve all the stubborn long lasting and high coverage makeup, as well as some other oil based particles.
- A water based cleanser (foam or gel cleanser): to remove any oil residue as well as water based particles. This step can be assisted with a mechanical tool whether it's a sponge or a brush to deep cleanse and kinda micro exfoliate.

What makes it better than the cleansing method we are used to?

Cleansing is an important step of our skincare routine. We need to remove all the stuff that built up on our skin throughout the day like makeup, sunscreen, dead skin cells, excess oil, dirt, pollution particles and so. This way when you layer other products on your skin they would be fully absorbed into your skin thus will be effective. Also, leaving all of these stuff on your skin day after day will clog your pores and irritate your skin, and cause some quite nasty pimples that we don't wanna deal with.

Up to just few years ago, a foam cleanser was largely enough to deal with all of these unwanted particles and clean our skin, but back then we didn't have high coverage long lasting foundations and waterproof makeup that are designed to stay put and won't budge by using water based cleansers alone (just try it yourself and then use a cotton pad to check if there is anything left, I'm sure you'll find lots and lots of makeup left), that's why they thought about new appropriate cleansing methods to deal with them.

Skincare is actually meant to take care of your skin problems instead of concealing them with layers of high coverage makeup, and by skipping just this one important step, you won't only prevent your skincare from reaching your skin and doing their job, but also allow these products to build up on your skin, clog your pores, irritate and sensitise your skin and make it look dull and bumpy, and cause more ugly pimples, acne scars, redness and hyperpigmentation that you wanted to cover in the first place but ended up worsening instead, and thus you'll be stuck in a vicious circle.

So just by doing this step properly, you will avoid more skin problems, you'll allow your skincare to do its job properly, thus you won't need to apply as many layers/long lasting makeup frequently and you'll probably become confident about showing your bare skin to the world.

What do you think? isn't it worth it? I bet it is.

Should I double cleanse even on days I don't wear makeup?

It's fine to use only a foam cleanser, but I personally prefer double cleansing even when I'm staying at home. I just feel like my skin is much much smoother when I only use a foam cleanser.
Usually oil and water don't really mix together so to get rid of all these oil based impurities, SPF and sebum that built up our skin throughout the day, we need to use an oil to attract it and dissolve the hardened above mentioned stuff and free your pores, so that my face will be fully ready to absorb all the goodies I'm planning to layer over it (I don't wanna spend lots of money on these products and then don't benefit from them right?)

What types of oils are usually used in these cleansers?

Depending on the cleanser, you can find many different types of oils, but here are some of the most used oils, and some of their benefits:

- Mineral Oil:
There are some that say mineral oil is not the greatest ingredient for the skin, unfortunately It's commonly used in beauty products and usually included for its cheap price.

- Coconut Oil:
Coconut Oil is a great natural ingredient for the skin. It works to moisturise and has many anti-ageing properties. It also helps the exfoliation process and acts as a makeup remover.

- Olive Oil:
One of my favourite oils to eat and use for beauty purposes. Not only it is delicious, it also is packed with antioxidants that are known for their anti-ageing properties. It doesn't clog your pores and it enhances exfoliation, resulting in fresh, glowing skin.

- Grape seed oil:
Just like olive oil, grape seed oil does not clog the pores, and in addition to that it has countless skin benefits. It is a great moisturiser for dry skin, does a nice job healing scars, regenerating and tightening the skin, has anti ageing properties, lightens dark under eye circles and more.

- Apricot Oil:
Apricot is great for moisturising and healing damaged skin as well as minimising the appearance of wrinkles. In top of that, it is odourless.

- Camellia Oil:
It's easily absorbed by the skin and helps to nourish the skin with its healthful anti oxidising properties. It can also be used as a makeup remover.

- Jojoba Oil:
Jojoba Oil acts as a natural skin conditioner.

- Rice Bran Oil:
Rice Bran Oil is full of antioxidants that protect the skin. It is a super moisturizing ingredient and it's a great ingredient for Winter weather. It's light so it's also compatible with oily skin. It also helps maintain your youthful glow by brightening the skin, reducing dark spots and smoothing the skin out and fighting ageing factors.

- Moringa Oil
Moringa oil protects dry skin, moisturises dry it, absorbs easily and creates radiant skin. This is a revered ingredient used since the times of the ancient Romans, Greeks and Egyptians. It also has anti-ageing and dark spot reducing abilities.

- Shea Butter:
Shea butter is extremely moisturising and nourishing to the skin, reduces inflammation, smooths and softens the skin as well as strengthens it and reduces wrinkles appearance.

- Sesame oil:
Sesame oil is easily absorbed into the skin to nourish it deep inside and is rich with antioxidants that promote soft skin, as well as minerals, and is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

But I have an oily skin. Should I use an oil cleanser too?

Yes. Oil cleansers won't make your skin oilier nor cause more breakouts, if anything they would help to dissolve all these complexes formed by excess sebum and particles hanging in the air that would clog your pores afterwards and break you out. Just make sure to emulsify your oil cleanser with water before rinsing it off, and use a good oil cleanser that doesn't leave a residue on your skin (like the face shop oil cleanser.. it leaves a super greasy residue that's hard to get rid of even with a good foam cleanser, and it broke many people out, my sister included)

What about foam cleansers? is there anything to look for?

To pick the right product for your skin, you have to keep in mind the following foam cleanser properties:

- Skin type:
Each of us is born with a different skin type and should respect it. Many cleansers can be used by all skin types but many others are created for specific skin types and you should keep this in mind otherwise you might harm your skin. (if you aren't sure about your skin type, check my post here where I explained every skin type traits and needs)

- Is it drying?
Most foam cleansers make your skin feel tight and squeaky clean, and it's not good for the skin. You should look for cleansers that clean your face without stripping it from its natural oils, especially if you have a dry skin
PS: if you have a dry skin, stay away from anything that says Acne, sebum, oil control, pores and so on since they can be quite drying.

- What is its pH?
The skin's natural pH is 5.5, so to keep it balanced, you should use cleansers with the same pH otherwise you would cause a loss of moisture as well as more acne (especially after using cleansers with high pH levels)

- Does it treat acne?
For those of us who are suffering from an acne prone skin, treating our acne starts from using an appropriate cleanser. Fortunately, there are many cleansers on the market that target acne and pore problems, so look for them.

- Is it brightening?
Koreans are obsessed with bright, pale and glowing skin so it's common to find cleansers with brightening properties.

- Does it have a fragrance?
Fragrance can break some people with sensitive skin out, and strong overpowering smells are really bothering. So if you are gonna use a cleanser everyday twice a day, you better know what it smells like and choose a scent that you actually enjoy.

And why is everybody's preoccupied by cleansers' pH?

This post explains it all but long story short: Our skin has an acidic pH that helps it resist bacteria, lock in water and preserve the moisture barrier. By using cleansers with high (alkaline) pH, you break this balance and end up with a dehydrated (since it's no longer able to lock in the moisture) acne prone skin since your skin becomes an optimal environment for bacteria and other microorganisms to grow and reproduce and thus cause more trouble.

Any recommendation?

As promised, I'm gonna include in each category a bunch of recommendations by skin type.

First cleanser:

I've tried a bunch of oil cleansers but the ones that stand out the most for me are the following:

1- Heimish All Clean Balm:

This one has been on everyone and their mother's 2016 favourites (including mine hihih). The ones who created this balm were working for Banila Co., and after leaving they decided to take the Banila Co clean it Zero balm and renovate it, and they came with this version that is in my opinion much much better, both in terms of ingredients and efficacy, and is suitable for all skin types. You can find my full review here as well as a little comparison.

Get yours at Amazon for $16.65

2- TroiAreuke Acsen Oil Cut Cleansing:

This oil-free cleanser works just as well as an oil/balm cleanser, while at the same time removes the extra keratin on your skin and micro-peels it thank to the papaya extract, and also reduces acne and prevents it from getting sur-infected. As I've mentioned in this review, this is in my opinion the best cleanser for people suffering from acne or skin sensitivities . Pricey, but really worth it (this brand over all isn't hyped for nothing imo)

Get it from Amazon for $38

3- Banila Co. Clean It Zero:

Although Heimish balm cleanser is better, this one is still worth mentioning. It does an awesome job removing makeup and comes in 3 different types: the original one for all skin types, Resveratrol for oily and combination skin types, Radiance for dry lacklustre skin and purity for sensitive skin.
This has been a k-beauty cult for a long time, and even now there are still some people who swear with it.

Get it: Banila Clean It Zero Original, $17, Amazon; Banila co Clean It Zero Resveratrol, $18, Amazon; Banila co Clean It Zero Radiance, $18, Amazon; Banila co Clean It Zero Purity, $19, Amazon;

4- Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil:

Just like the other Klairs products, this oil cleanser can be used by everyone but is specifically designed for people with sensitive skin thanks to its hypoallergenic formula and is made of some vegetable oils that allow a mild yet effective cleansing. Another thing that made me like this cleanser is that it's really smooth, unlike the other oil cleansers (let's say this one feels like argan oil while the other cleansers feel like cooking oil? kinda thin and feels like there are some micro granules in it that doesn't make it feel as smooth.. I'm rambling but hope you got what I mean lol), and doesn't leave a greasy residue that's a pain to rinse off.

Get it: At Amazon for $18.20, or Wishtrend for $22.90

Second Cleanser:

I used to think that foam cleansers aren't worth the money, so I've always made my own cleanser but still purchased some that ended up proving my point, but recently I came across some really good cleansers that changed my mind. (I also became lazier than I used to, so I prefer to pay for cleansers than make one that meets my needs). Here are some of these awesome ones:

1- COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser:

Another product that was practically on every Best of 2016 list. It is on the cheap side of cleansers yet does its job effectively without stripping your skin from its natural oils. it also has a low pH level and is suitable for all skin types.

Get yours at Amazon for $10 or Wishtrend for $9.35

2- Neogen Real Fresh Foam Cleanser:

Quite an innovative product. This foam cleanser comes with actual fruit or herbs fermenting in the bottom of the bottle to provide real amino acids and vitamins for the skin. It's made of lots and lots of good stuff and real plants extracts instead of being filled with chemicals. Unlike some other foam cleansers I've tried before, this cleanser's lather is really thick and you feel like your skin is actually absorbing all the good stuff instead of watery thin bubbles.
It comes in four different types: Cranberries for anti-ageing, Blueberry for moisturising, Green Tea for soothing and Cereals for brightening.

Get yours at Amazon for $19

3- Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser:

This is a mild cleanser that cleanses, soothes and moisturises the skin at the same time, which makes it really suitable for dry and sensitive skin (just like almost every klairs product out there).

Get yours at Amazon for $17.90 or Wishtrend for $16.99

4- Etude house AC Clinic Daily foam cleanser:

Many of my friends with oily skin swear by this cleanser. Yeah it has a high pH level (All u have to do is to use a toner within the 3 seconds or so that follow cleansing your face to balance your skin pH again. which seems kinda hard to do but...) but, it really does what it claims: it controls sebum production and reduces acne (a lot if my friends are anything to judge by). Keep in mind that it might dry your skin out if you don't have an oily skin.

Get it at Amazon for $12

That's it for today, hope it was helpful and let me know in a comment down below what are your favourite cleansers.
Have a lovely day everyone ♥

2017 wasn't really my most favorite year (well I guess many others agree with me) but skincare-wise, I've got to try many amazing products and I kinda became more consistent with my skincare routine although I still skip the morning one and forget about sunscreen most of the time, but it's way better now, I mean, I used to have a weekly routine instead of an everyday one, see I'm improving! And seeing all these christmas sales and special deals made me think about making a 2016 favorites just in case you wanted to do some shopping and wanted to have an idea about products that actually work. I tried to pick one product from each category but I can't really promise :3

Just keep in mind that what works for me might not work for you since we all are different, also keep in mind that I have an acne prone dehydrated (reaaally dehydrated to the point where I have lots and lots flakes sitting on top of my skin you'll probably mistake me for a fish)

First cleanser:

Heimish All Clean Balm
Click on  the photo to read my full review of Heimish All Clean Balm + a little comparison with Banila Co. Clean it Zero.

I've tried quite many first cleansers this year, liked quite many of them and would have probably found it hard to pick a favorite out of them, but when I tried the Heimish All Clean Balm, I fell in love with it instantly and forgot about all the other ones I have. I have already reviewed it here so make sure to check out my full review if interested, but I love that it has a really good ingredient list, smells good, does a good job removing makeup without leaving a residue, doesn't irritate my eyes (and I have super sensitive eyes fyi) and has a gorgeous packaging. What else would I ask for?

Heimish All Clean Balm: Amazon

Foam/gel cleanser:

Like I have mentioned before in this review, I prefer using a homemade cleanser since cleansers are either too drying, leave a film on my skin or are too expensive (I need like a new cleanser every month if not less, and I honestly won't spend more than 15 bucks on it, I mean, it doesn't even stay on my skin that much and I was more than satisfied with my DIY cleanser), but about a month ago, I decided to give the COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser I changed my mind. It does an amazing job cleaning my face and refreshing it and it's really inexpensive. No wonder why everybody's raving about it.

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel: Amazon | Wishtrend

Exfoliation:

Well for this category, I would pick two products (I love both of them I can't choose)

Click on the image to shop on Amazon

The first one is the Missha Super Aqua D-TOX Peeling Gel, this was actually my first chemical exfoliator and I really loved and kept using it for years, but I decided to do some experimenting and try some other "peeling gels" but none of them was as good as this one to be honest. I have a dehydrated skin and tonnes of dry patches and dead skins that need to be taken care of and this one does a great job getting rid of them. Keep in mind that it might be too rough for you if you have a sensitive/thin skin. (I ran out of it and threw the tube.. thus why I'm using this google picture)

Missha Super Aqua D-TOX Peeling Gel: Amazon

Click on the picture to shop on Amazon

The second one I have chosen is (obviously) Skinfood Black Sugar Wash Off mask. This one was my first black sugar scrub and I kinda abandoned it after trying Klairs black sugar scrub since I was convinced that it works better, but after trying them side to side I ended up realising that skinfood is actually better (check my comparison here to know what I was based on to choose).

Skinfood Black Sugar Wash Off Mask: Amazon

Wash Off mask:

I use pretty much every product I own as a wash off mask from time to time by applying a thick layer, leaving it on for about 15min and then washing it off (I mean, why not?) I also have tried quite many wash off masks lately but the one that stands out for me is the Innisfree The Real Rose Mask. It smells great and leaves my skin super smooth I can't stop myself from touching it all the time. The only downside about it is that the effects aren't long lasting (it disappear after a couple of days..). You can find my full review here.

Innisfree The Real Rose Mask: Amazon

Toner:

Okay this was the most difficult category for me to choose from since I double tone most of the time, and use a different toner everyday depending on my skin needs and so.
After a long debate between me and myself, I decided to go for COSRX One Step Moisture Up Pads. I have just started using it for a couple of months but I already really love it. It makes my skin really smooth a glowy, giving it all the moisture it needs without making it super oily. I also love using it on the lazy mornings as a one step skincare routine (when my skin isn't super dry of course) Check my full review here

COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pads: Wishtrend | Amazon

Click on the picture for the full review

Next on the list, COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pads. I've been using this one for over a year now and boy I'm so satisfied with how it helps my skin on the days it decides to misbehave by speeding up my pimples' healing process, I've also noticed that I don't break out as much on the days I'm using it. Check my full review here

COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pads: Wishtrend | Amazon

Click on the image to read my full review of the Klairs toner.

And also, I couldn't not mention these two toners that I absolutely love: Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner that I have already reviewed here, and COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner that I have been using most of this year but never got to review for some unknown reason (laziness..)

Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner: Wishtrend | Amazon
COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment: Wishtrend | Amazon

Essence:

Smart shopping: Click on the image to get both COSRX snail mucin cream and essence for a discounted price.

Another COSRX product that I absolutely love is their Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. I haven't used it often to be honest since whenever I need it I have to look for it and beg one of my sibling or my mum to let me use it (yeah.. I bought it with my own money but I have to ask their permission to use it), but it does an awesome job moisturising and kinda rejuvenating the skin, as well as fading acne scars (which explains why everybody loves it at home). I don't have a picture right now since my mum took it with her in her travel bag...I better get myself another one.
I actually also got the COSRX snail cream and it is awesome as well, it is my go to cream when I feel like my skin needs extra care.

COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence: Amazon | Wishtrend

Serum/Ampoule:

Click to read my C20 Serum full review.

This was probably the easiest one to choose. I have used Tiam My signature C source Serum for 3-4 years now and I recommend it to my friends all the time so I guess this would give you an idea about how much I love it. It does a great job brightening the skin, fading scars, healing acne and reducing blackheads and redness. I have written a full review here so make sure to check it out to know more about this awesome product.

Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum: Wishtrend | Amazon

Eye cream:

I don't actually use an eye cream (I know I know) that's why I wanted to ask you: What is your favorite eye cream? what would you recommend to me? thank you ♥

Spot Treatment:

Smart shopping: Click on the image to get 10 sheets at the price of 5.

COSRX  Acne Pimple Master Patch is definitely my go to product whenever I have a hug zit that comes out of nowhere on days you most likely have an event or so and it decides to surprise you. It sucks out all the stuff inside that pimple and calms it down to make it easier to hide using a concealer (that is if it didn't make it disappear completely). You can check my full review here.

COSRX  Acne Pimple Master Patch: Wishtrend | Amazon

Moisturiser:

Again, I'll pick two products for this section but I actually have an excuse for doing so: I have a dehydrated skin and it's winter, that's why layering moisturisers is kinda a must (okay maybe not since I layer them once a week or something ... it was a lame excuse I know) anyways.. I choose a moisturising lotion and a cream.

For the lotion, the one I picked up is the COSRX Oil-Free Ultra Moisturising Lotion that I've started using recently and I absolutely love how moisturising it is. I also love that it is oil free since oil based products tend to break me out (and we don't want that). Check the full review here

COSRX Oil-Free Ultra Moisturising Lotion: Amazon | Wishtrend

Click on the image to read my full review

As for the cream, I picked up (obviously) my HG moisturiser for so long: Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream. This is so moisturising yet feels light on the skin. I have ran out of my third jar about a week ago and I can't wait to get the tube version since it is much more hygienic and seems like they improved the formula as well (not sure though) and I would love to see how good it is (hopefully it would be as great as the original one). You can find my full review here.

Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream: Wishtrend | Amazon

Sheet Masks:

I'm putting it here because that's when I usually use my sheet masks (except for the C21.5 mask that I use right after the C20 serum). And since it's sheet masks, and I obviously can't use only one sheet mask my whole life (and can't choose one from over 100 masks I've tried either) I'm gonna choose 3 sheet masks in no particular order:

- Troiareuke GPS Mask is a 3-step mask that contains a micro-cleansing bubble cleanse that you apply on your face and let it foam for a couple of minutes and then massage it to kinda remove the dead skin cells and deeply cleanse your skin, after this, your skin feels already bright and refreshed. The second step is the sheet mask itself; it's a super fine gel mask that looks like a second skin but is kinda slippery and super duper moisturising and after taking it off you feel like your skin has actually absorbed the whole essence. The third step is a moisturising cream that helps sealing all the moisture. This is a really interesting mask that would be great for travelling or on long flights, or on days you feel extra lazy and don't feel like using 180 products, BUT, this mask is quite pricey (around 10000 won) that's why I personally only use it for special occasions since I can't afford using it frequently.

- Leaders Cosmetics Moisturising Recovery Mask is a mask that I have recently tried and immediately fell in love with and purchase a couple of boxes nearby to use them whenever I feel like doing so since it's not easy to find where I live. This mask is made with naturally fermented premium coconut gel and claims to deliver 10 times more hydration and I can totally agree. it is so moisturising and hydrating, its effects last for days and it isn't as slippery or as difficult to use as some other gel masks I've used before. If you have a dehydrated skin like me, you absolutely need to give it a try.

It brightens the skin and gives it a nice glow, moisturizes it and most importantly calms irritated skin and active acne and fades scars after multiple usages. My favorite way to use this mask is by using it once a week right after applying the C20 serum to boost the effects and thus get better results, but you shouldn't do this more than once a week otherwise you might harm your skin since we are talking here about high doses of Vitamin C.

Sleeping Mask:

As you can notice by now, COSRX is taking over my skincare routine xD so of course my HG sleeping mask would be the infamous COSRX Ultimate Nourishing Overnight SPA Mask. I have been using it for months now and I'm not even thinking about trying new sleeping masks since this one is more than enough for me. I also use the honey one from time to time when my skin is really irritated and I wanna calm it down, but the rice mask is >>>>> all. You should absolutely give it a try because it is amazing. Check my full review here to find out all the reasons why I love it.

Lip Care:

I have tried like 13215454 lip balms but none of them is as moisturising as I would want it to be that's why I have been using vaseline and honey as lip masks for the past couple of months and I'm kinda satisfied by the pay-off to be honest. I have heard good things about the Aritaum Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask so I'm gonna give it a try soon, I will let you know whether I like it or not and hopefully it would make it to my 2018 favorites.

So this was it for today, hope it was helpful ^^

Let me know what you think about these products if you have tried any, and also share with me your 2017 favorites, I'm always up for trying new products :D
Also, let me know if you want me to do a makeup version of this ^^
